It's just like regular freeze tag except that players can avoid being frozen for 5 seconds at a time by squatting down and shouting the name of a cartoon character. Each cartoon character may only be used once and it only grants you 5 seconds of immunity, After 5 seconds the player must stand back up and rejoin the game. Whoever is It is not allowed to puppyguard someone who is taking advantage of this immunity; they must continue to chase the other players. All the rules of regular freeze tag apply.

First, you pick someone to read each word from a preconstructed list. All of the other players (I suggest having at least ten) stand in a circle (or if this is in school, by their desk). The "teacher" reads a word and chooses the player that starts the game off. The selected player says the first letter of that word, and going clockwise around the circle (or in the case of playing this in a classroom, down the row) and each person says the next letter of the word.
